Is OAO's transformation training more like an university program or a Mooc like Coursera?
OAO is crafted by progressive business academics and leaders—Harvard and MIT grads, HEC and NHH professors, and a network of leading creatives and engineers.
How is OAO different from company surveys?
We think company surveys are great, either the mass online surveys focusing on high-level data at scale, or the dedicated expert surveys or focused groups focusing on higher level resolution data from smaller groups. A major issue, however, with both these approaches is the strong assumptions we make about what the respondents know about topics being asked. OAO combines education and data collection by upskilling people before we ask questions. This way, we can assert relevant reflections and insights, and deliver an almost unprecedented response rate compared to standard company surveys (>95% completion rate).
How is OAO different from a consultancy?
OAO overlaps with management consulting firms & ideation coaching consultancies in the results we aim to achieve: To identify challenges and opportunities, identify new and innovative use-cases, and design actions and strategies to act on identified obstacles and opportunities. The major difference is that we strongly believe the leaders of the great companies we work with are the best suited to come up with the solutions themselves. They only need the right tools for the job. To use an analogy: OAO is the pen and paper helping leaders write their own transformation success story.
